Graduate to Service Desk Technician and Beyond!

Edward Webb is 21 and is one of our latest recruits having joined the Kogo team in August. This is his first job since graduating with a First Class Honours degree in Computer Science (BSc) from the University of Sheffield. We were interested in finding out a little bit more about Ed and how his journey has brought him to Kogo and what he has been doing since his arrival.

Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I’m currently living with my family, which includes my mum, my younger brother, and our two cats. Our house is actually a farm although we don’t have any animals now. I went to school in West Sussex, starting at Rudgwick Primary followed by the Weald Secondary School in Billingshurst where I went on to attend the Sixth Form, studying Maths, Physics, Art, and ICT. It was then on to the University of Sheffield for a BSc in Computer Science.

You’ve been with Kogo for about 4 months. What’s your job title and what does your job involve?

Yes, I started with Kogo in August and I’m a ‘Service Desk Technician’. I work on the helpdesk, which involves helping the end users with any problems or errors, and I also help complete requests that come in throughout the day.
