Password Security in the Digital World

It’s a surprisingly common problem in the modern world: A website or account is compromised, and yet there is no clear attack. That’s because there was no hack, the compromise source is not some vulnerability in the software you’re using or the host your website is managed with, it’s your password.

Password security is oft misunderstood, and yet it remains a vital part of keeping your web presence safe. If someone guesses your password, they can access your account without setting off any malicious entry alerts, thus giving them a far greater window of opportunity to abuse your account.

There are 3 common methods of “guessing” a password these days, and any good password should not be easily beaten by any of them.
